Alexis has been in the beauty industry for over 10 years! In the beginning of her career worked as an educator for REDKEN hair care products. She traveled all over educating other salon professionals on the latest trends and products. Her favorite part of being an artist was working back stage at NY Fashion Week with Giorgio Armani! Bridal is where her heart truly lies, as she won several awards for her up-styling. 

 

Alexis has always dreamt of owning her own salon. Soon after her second baby, she finally made the leap. Tousled and Tamed was established in April 2018. 

 

When Alexis is not styling, she is loves being a mom to her four gorgeous kids with her husband Steve. They sure keep her busy playing, going to the park and eating lots of Oreos, as mom enjoys her coffee (or should I say coffees). Alexis loves to take her creativity all through her house on fun diy projects.
